There’s a film on both sides of the target insert card. Check to make sure both sides have been removed, if not peel off and try to insert again.

This target takes 3 AAA batteries.

You need one of the USB charging cables that have a 90 degree bend at the plug, in order to get it to fit properly.

Make sure the target is not near a light source such as a window or lamp, too much light may cause the LaserPET II to miss reading the laser hit.
